There has been a lot of stem cell research opposition which is often based on lack of information or religious beliefs.
Here is a very brief history on stem cells.
Stem cell investigations took off in 1998 when they were for the first time really understood and their importance recognised.
Because of the ongoing decline in health such as the immense increase in things like Diabetes and heart attacks, a great amount of interest has now developed.
Since then a huge amount of money has been spent on research largely on embryonic stem cells.
Using embryonic stem cells has not produced any real health benefits in spite of the huge amount of money expended on their research.
Because of the failure to achieve the anticipated results using these embryonic stem cells we now see the greatest attention being directed to adult stem cells.
Now that these adult stem cells are dominating the research, opposition should now decline.
We are already seeing considerable progress being achieved using adult stem cells technology.
We see interesting results being achieved on a daily basis as more understanding of the importance of this discovery about adult stem cells is being revealed.
Unfortunately the successes thus far have been expensive and unfortunately beyond the means of most of us.
However, with one notable exception.
A research scientist, after several years work has isolated and patented a stem cell product which can increase the number of stem cells circulating in our blood stream.
The importance of this should not be underestimated.
